Hakata plus+ Guesthouse

Hakata plus+ opened in a new building in February 2023 across the road from Hakata Beach, the island's main beach. The western room has two bunk beds and sleeps up to six, while the tatami room takes three on futons. Each room has its own unit bath and a one-ring kitchen, so you can cook or reheat takeaway in peace. A michi-no-eki and a convenience store are within walking distance.
Bikes park under a roof, and a few fit inside the entrance. The owners set up a drum barbecue for one group a night on request, though never in winter because the wind blows too hard. Only private groups stay, and check-in closes at 18:00.
