I-Link suits riders on a budget who want to sleep beside their bike at the Omishima end of the Tatara bridge; the trade-off is curtain walls that let sound through and no breakfast.

I-Link Hostel & Cafe Shimanami
¥
I-Link calls itself a hostel built for cyclists. It sits a minute's drive from Michi-no-Eki Tatara Shimanami Park, with a FamilyMart across the road. Singles and two-bunk twins close with an accordion curtain that locks, and your bike can come in with you. Dormitory beds sit behind curtains with their own lockers, and the hostel admits sound carries, so it hands out earplugs.
There is no breakfast. From 7:00 to 9:30 the café lets you eat food you bought the night before and sells coffee, and the FamilyMart is the only shop close by. The public bath at Tatara Shimanami Dome is an eight-minute walk, open 10:00–21:00 and closed on Tuesdays. Bring the hostel's towels and buy your own shampoo there.
Winter brings scattered closing days. In December 2025 the hostel shut on eight dates, café and beds alike, so check the calendar before you plan a winter crossing. Book café dinners early, because the restaurant turns diners away once it is full.
