Mt. MYOKO Super Season Pass · season 2026/27
The Mt. MYOKO Super Season Pass covers Akakura Onsen, Akakura Kanko, Ikenotaira Onsen Alpen Blick and Myoko Suginohara for 2026/27. It costs ¥130,000 at the regular price from 1 December 2026 to 31 March 2027, ¥110,000 early bird from 1 October to 30 November 2026, and ¥99,000 for repeat holders who buy by 23 November. It is valid to 31 March 2027 within each resort's own season. Adding the Mt. MYOKO Shuttle costs ¥20,000 and has to be bought with the pass. No shared day ticket covers all four; Akakura Kanko and Akakura Onsen sell a joint day ticket of their own. Seki Onsen sits outside the pass.
Get between them
The Mt. MYOKO Shuttle links the Myoko bus terminal, Akakura Onsen, Akakura Kanko, Ikenotaira and Suginohara with no reservation. In 2025/26 it cost ¥1,000 one way. Its planned 2026/27 run is 19 December 2026 to 22 March 2027. Akakura Kanko also runs a free shuttle of its own from Akakura Onsen village.
Myoko Kogen is the highland at the foot of Mt. Myoko, and four of its resorts sell a joint season pass under the Mt. MYOKO name. Akakura Onsen and Akakura Kanko share a border above the Akakura bathhouse village. Ikenotaira Onsen lies in the middle, and Myoko Suginohara climbs highest of all with the longest run in the area. Seki Onsen sits apart north of Akakura with two lifts and a following among powder riders.
Day visitors buy tickets resort by resort. The Mt. MYOKO Shuttle ties the four pass resorts together through the main season, so it is easy to stay in Akakura and ride Suginohara or Ikenotaira the next day. Suginohara takes the Ikon Pass. In 2025/26 Akakura Onsen was the only one of the group with night riding every day.
Trains reach Myoko-Kogen station from Nagano on the Shinano Railway, or from Joetsu-Myoko on the Myoko Haneuma Line. Buses and taxis cover the climb to each village. Arai Mountain Resort is also in Myoko city but sits on its own mountain to the north, so it is not part of this group.
Worth knowing
- Add the shuttle when you buy the season pass; it cannot be added later.
- Repeat season-pass holders get the lowest price only until 23 November 2026.

What does JaPow mean?
JaPow is skier slang for Japan's powder snow, a blend of Japan and pow. The snow comes from cold northwesterly winds that cross the Sea of Japan and unload on the mountains facing it, with January the snowiest month at every JMA station we keep near a ski area.
