The hotel moved into a new building in June 2024 and now pitches itself straight at cyclists. Its cyclist rooms have a bike hanger, and the ground floor has a maintenance space with loan tools. The floors use a washed-aggregate finish so cleats do not slip. The rental terminal and a large bike shop are each about a minute's walk.
Rooms run from 13 m² corner singles to 28 m² premium twins, with Sealy beds and a sliding inner door that shuts out the street. The artificial hot-spring bath takes men and women at set hours, so read the schedule at check-in. Women who cannot fit a bath slot get bath salts for the room.
Breakfast is the hotel's Shimanami buffet. It sets three versions of sea bream rice beside yakibuta tamago meshi, Imabari yakitori and croissants baked on site. About 30 parking spaces are free on a first-come basis, though the hotel nudges guests toward the train.
