The 5 km circuit is a proper road course used for races and events, and visitors can ride it by the hour on a rental road or cross bike or bring their own. The park sells entry at ¥850 for adults, and the Toku Pass at ¥2,700 opens every eligible attraction and halves the circuit rental. A 2 km family loop takes children from toddlers upwards, and the Izu MTB course runs through the woods.
The centre also runs races. The CSC Criterium Series uses a special course on the 5 km circuit, and its third round falls on 7 March 2027. The Tour of Japan's Izu stage raced on the centre's roads for years until the Sagamihara stage replaced it. Across the road, the Izu Velodrome with its 250-metre wooden track hosted track cycling at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics and at the 2026 Asian Games.
On holidays and school breaks a bus leaves stop 7 at Shuzenji Station at 8:20 and returns from the centre at 17:06. On other days take a taxi from Shuzenji Station. Cars park free in a 700-space car park, about 35 minutes from the Numazu interchange.
Worth knowing
- Check the operator's Google calendars for the circuit and MTB course before you go, because races and training camps book them out often.
- Restaurant Fujimi in the park looks out to Mt. Fuji, and the on-site lodge Saitel takes sports training camps and groups overnight.
