Ito Marine Town Seaside Spa

Seaside Spa sits inside Michi-no-eki Ito Marine Town, the roadside station on Route 135 at the north end of Ito, with shops and restaurants under the same roof. The big bath looks straight out over the sea, and the spa opens at 05:00, so you can watch the sunrise from the water. A dry sauna with a round window onto the sea sits beside a cold plunge.

The spring rises from 1,000 metres under the site at 38 °C, and the spa reheats it. Private sea-view baths take three groups a day. For riders on the east coast it makes an easy stop, with a car park, food and Ito station a 13-minute walk away.
