Ubuya
Ubuya stands on the Asakawa shore of Lake Kawaguchi facing Fuji, and the inn says you see the mountain from every room as well as from the baths and the lounge. The Fuji no Yu baths hold a calcium sodium chloride sulphate spring of the Fujikawaguchiko onsen area. They open from 15:00 to 24:00 and from 5:00 to 10:00, with the sauna closing at 21:00. Shallow pools for lying down and a lukewarm sitting bath join the open-air bath.
Check in between 15:00 and 18:00, and call ahead if you'll be late, because dinner stops at 19:00. The inn picks guests up at Kawaguchiko station between 15:00 and 18:00 when you phone on arrival, and a taxi takes about ten minutes. The top rooms carry their own open-air baths. The inn keeps its onsen water for the big bath, and it takes no day bathers.
