Minakami Hotel Juraku
Juraku renovated all 36 rooms, and the river-view rooms look down on the Tone with Tanigawa-dake filling the mountain-view side. The water is piped 500 m from a spring the hotel says villagers and the priest of Kenmyo-ji dug out more than 400 years ago, at 180 tonnes a day and 42 °C, with tap water added. The large bath has jacuzzi and cypress tubs among many others.
Check-in is from 15:00, or from 13:00 on early check-in plans, which also open the large baths early. An EV charger costs ¥1,100 a charge, for two cars a day.
