The nearest station is Takayama, 45 minutes from the first lift. JR Takayama Main Line; minutes are the drive.
The ski area sits at about 1,300 m on the flank of Mt. Norikura, 21 km and about 45 minutes by car from JR Takayama Station. Torrential rain in July 2020 brought landslides that closed it for the 2020/21 season, and it reopened in 2021/22 with one lift. The high-speed pair lift to the top has stayed out of service since.
With one pair lift running, a weekend day ticket cost ¥1,880 in 2025/26 and ¥1,040 on weekdays for any age. The ski school runs lessons and badge camps for children, and the Ine rental shop in the Mominoki Lodge rents ski sets from ¥3,450 for adults.
The restaurant opens only at weekends and on holidays, so on weekdays bring lunch or use the shop.
