Getting there
About 87 minutes from Takayama on the Nohi bus to the Nakao Kogen-guchi stop; ten parking spaces.
Shin-Hotaka no Yu sits beside the Kamata River, and it is the only mixed bath among Okuhida's day-use baths. The changing rooms are separate for men and women. After a decline in bathers' manners, everyone has had to wear a swimsuit or a bathing wrap since July 2025, and patrols check. It is lit up at night in the new-leaf season.
Worth knowing
