Three minutes' walk from the Hirayu Onsen bus stop, beside the Hirayu Folk Museum.
Hirayu no Yu is the village's outer bath, with one outdoor pool for men and one for women beside the thatched Hirayu Folk Museum. The water runs brown and holds its heat. Afterwards you can rest on the tatami of the old farmhouse by its irori.
