Hachi Kita suits stronger riders who want moguls and long top-to-bottom runs within reach of Osaka, and its trade-off is two car parks whose roads do not join in winter.

- Drive
- Kitakinki-Toyooka Expressway toward Yoka-Hyonosen IC, then Route 9 west toward Muraoka. The resort's own driving directions appear only as images.
The operator also sells Hachi Kita ski bus tours from Kansai.
The resort publishes no public bus timetable in text, so this file leaves the train and bus legs empty.
Hachi Kita covers the north face of Mt. Hachibuse above the old ryokan village of Osasa in Kami town. Its fifteen courses run from the 1,221 m summit down to the inns, and the Panorama slope sits near 1,000 m with some of the driest snow in Kansai by the operator's account. Kita-kabe is the steep mogul face below the summit that the resort rates above expert. The Juhyo course gives a gentler way down from the top with the same views.
The Central A course runs beside a high-speed quad and has new snowmaking, so it is the run most likely to be open early. Central B is wide and rolling, and Central C splits off it with a few ungroomed patches. The Alpine course keeps one half groomed and leaves the other to moguls, and the Challenge course stays ungroomed after a snowfall.
Hachi Kita shares its ticket with Hachi on the far side of the mountain. You cross by lift and summit when the top has enough snow, and the shared ticket lets you spend a morning on each side. Driving between the two takes much longer, so pick one car park and ride across.
Worth knowing
- Choose your car park before you leave. The slope car park and the ryokan-town car park have separate entrances, and Japanese Wikipedia says the road that looks like it links them on map apps closes in winter, turning the transfer into a 20-minute drive.
- The slope car park costs ¥1,500 on weekdays and ¥1,800 at weekends; the ryokan-town car park costs ¥1,000 and ¥1,500.
- Ticket windows at the Noma quad, the family pair and both ryokan-town lifts take credit cards and PayPay.
