Iwa no Yu is the Yuzawa public bath out in the Tsuchitaru valley with a stone tub for about fifteen people and a view over a mountain stream, and it suits skiers and hikers coming back from Tsuchitaru and the Daigenta Canyon; you need a car or taxi to reach it.

Getting there
In the Tsuchitaru valley about 10 minutes by car from Echigo-Yuzawa Station, near the Yuzawa Fishing Park and the Daigenta Canyon. Thirty-two parking spaces.
The baths' site pitches Iwa no Yu at people coming back from a day outdoors in the Tsuchitaru valley, where the Yuzawa Fishing Park and the Daigenta Canyon lie close by. You soak in a stone tub and look out at the stream.
