NASPA New Otani

NASPA is a big resort hotel on the west side of the Yuzawa valley, with 205 rooms and space for about 900 guests. It has a private ski slope of its own, which makes it an easy first day for children and beginners before you move on to GALA or Naeba.
A shuttle bus runs to the hotel from Echigo-Yuzawa Station in about three minutes. The 2026/27 winter plans cover stays from 24 December 2026 to 27 March 2027, with New Year priced on its own.
Yuzawa's tourism office notes that only the paid private baths run free-flowing source water. People with tattoos cannot enter the public baths. The restaurants began serving 2026 Minamiuonuma Koshihikari rice in September.
