ONOMICHI U2 began life in 1943 as a prefectural shipping warehouse, and since March 2014 it has held a cyclists' hotel and a GIANT store alongside this restaurant. Lunch centres on wood-fired pizza and seasonal pasta, served with a salad bar of local vegetables and bread from Butti Bakery a few steps away. At dinner the kitchen grills local fish and game over charcoal. KOG BAR at the counter seats you on stools with pedals and saddles facing the Onomichi Channel. The building is a five-minute walk west of Onomichi Station.
