Kasheru suits families who want hand-cut soba at lunch and jingisukan at dinner under one roof, and the trade-off is a cash-only till.
What to order
- Hand-cut soba at lunch
- Jingisukan at dinner
Kasheru opened in August 2022 on the onsen street and splits its menu between hand-made soba and jingisukan. It seats 34 across a short counter, tables and a tatami corner, and the terrace closes in winter. Children are welcome, and Tabelog reviewers from December 2024 and December 2025 came in for the lamb after a day on the snow. The shop has five parking spaces, and the owners point drivers to the second car park of Tsuraragi no Yu Hanayuran two minutes away when those fill.
Worth knowing
- The owners post closures on Instagram, so look there before you walk over.
- Lunch orders stop at 13:30.
