Kamogawa faces the open Pacific where the Sotobo and Uchibo lines meet at Awa-Kamogawa Station. Kamochari+ started in January 2026, when the tourism association's Kamochari merged with Wellnesports Kamogawa's own rental fleet. It hires out MERIDA road and gravel bikes alongside Asahi e-MTBs from the station and from Kominato Satoumi Gakko in Kominato.
Kamogawa Sea World sits on the shore east of the station, and every room in its official hotel next door looks out to sea. The coast road south toward Wada belongs to the Minamiboso Hanaumi Kaido scenic byway, which links Kamogawa with Tateyama and Kyonan.
Inland roads took damage from Typhoon No. 25 in autumn 2026. Michi-no-Eki Hota Shogakko reported the Nagasa Kaido closed between Ichiihara and Yokone, so check the road before you cross from Kamogawa toward Hota.
