Ryokan Sakaya
Sakaya stands in the middle of the onsen street, a three-minute walk from the last Nozawa Onsen Liner stop. Its baths take spring water straight from the source, and staff cool it without adding water. The village's 13 soto-yu sit a short walk away for a bath crawl after dinner.
Bookings for December 2026 to March 2027 opened on 12 May 2026. Winter stays run three nights or more with online payment, and the inn charges 20 percent for cancelling 15 to 50 days out and the full price inside 14 days. The inn has also warned of fake emails asking for PayPay payments in its name.
