LIME RESORT MYOKO
¥12,000 a night
LIME is the most contemporary hotel in Ikenotaira, with 34 rooms, a library bar, a kids' room, a gym, a THE NORTH FACE shop and a Myoko Coffee counter in the lounge. Some rooms face Mt. Myoko and others look east to Mt. Madarao, and a few accessible rooms have no steps from the door.
The onsen comes from Minami-Jigokudani on Mt. Myoko and runs dark with volcanic mud, which is the Ikenotaira water people come for. It is open from 15:00 through to 10:00 the next morning.
The hotel collects guests at Myoko-Kogen Station between 9:00 and 18:00. In winter the Mt. Myoko shuttle stops outside on its run between Akakura and Suginohara, and in green season the hotel points cyclists to the climb to Naena Falls.
