Buses leave from Nagano Station's East Exit and call at Hakuba Goryu, Hakuba Station and Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal before some carry on to Iwatake, Tsugaike Kogen and Hakuba Norikura. On the timetable that runs to 30 November 2026 the 08:20 from Nagano reaches Happo at 09:30. Seven buses run toward Hakuba each day and six come back, the first leaving Happo at 06:30.
Alpico's fare from Nagano Station to Hakuba Goryu, Hakuba Station or Happo is ¥2,900, and Tsugaike or Hakuba Norikura costs ¥3,200. Children pay half. The buses have Wi-Fi but no toilet, and they make no rest stops on the way.
