A big Giant shop beside the Marriott at the east end of the Biwako Ohashi bridge.
Moriyama's lakeshore at the east end of the Biwako Ohashi bridge is where many Biwaichi rides begin. Giant Store Biwako Moriyama stands beside the Lake Biwa Marriott, and in May 2026 the prefecture ran its spring Biwaichi rally from the shop. The Marriott stamps the completion certificate, and Setre Marina Biwako offers a smaller night in the marina just south.
The city restored the habitat of Genji fireflies, and in early summer you can see them even in town. Biwako Daughters sells a fishing family's lake fish a short ride east along the shore in Yasu.
