Things to do in Irago
Cape Irago伊良湖岬Viewpoint
The tip of the Atsumi Peninsula, looking across the Irago Channel to Toba and Ise-Shima.
Irago is the cluster of hotels and the ferry port at the end of the Atsumi Peninsula. Ise-wan Ferry crosses to Toba in about an hour. The national route council's table puts the bike charge at ¥1,300 each way on top of the ¥1,800 adult fare, while a bagged bike pays nothing extra and no booking is needed.
Michi-no-Eki Irago Crystal Porto is the ferry terminal. Its cycle station has racks, lockers, a changing space and a pump and tools to borrow, and the tourist desk rents e-bikes at ¥500 an hour. Irago Resort & Convention Hotel sits by the beach next door and sells a plan that lets two bikes into the room. Kyukamura Irago and Irago Ocean Resort, up on the hill, are both Atsumi Cycle Supporters.
