Hakuba Tokyu Hotel
¥48,924 a night
The hotel sits among the trees at Wadano, and its own car runs guests to the Hakuba Happo bus terminal in about three minutes and to JR Hakuba Station in about eight, between 8:00 and 20:00. In winter free scheduled buses, mostly run by the ski areas, stop at the hotel for Happo-one, Goryu and HAKUBA47, Iwatake and Tsugaike Kogen. Ask the front desk for the season's times.
The large baths with open-air pools run on Hakuba Happo Onsen, an alkaline simple spring the hotel measures at pH 11.2, which leaves skin slippery. The open-air side can close during heavy snowfall. Day visitors paid ¥1,500 an adult in 2026, so it also works as a soak on a non-hotel night.
Highlights
- Hakuba Happo Onsen at pH 11.2 fills the indoor and open-air baths
- Free ski-area buses stop at the hotel in winter
- A ski-boot entrance and lockers sit on the first floor
