Dormy Inn Mishima
Dormy Inn Mishima is five minutes on foot from the south exit of Mishima station, where the Tokaido Shinkansen stops. Its Fugaku no Yu baths on the 12th floor run on the hotel's own spring, and from the indoor and open-air pools you watch Fuji and the bullet trains. The baths open 15:00 to 10:00 the next morning, and the sauna closes from 1:00 to 5:00. Rooms run from 14.5 square metres in a single to 20 in a twin.
Bikes stand free under the eaves by the entrance when there's space, and overflow goes to an open corner of the car park. Riders heading into Izu or up toward Fuji can unpack a bike bag here and roll out from the door. Car parking costs ¥1,200 a night and can't be booked. Shoyu ramen comes free from 21:30.
