BunkLodge NEKOMA
Hoshino Resorts built BunkLodge as a no-frills base for people who come to ride. Its 63 rooms sit in three buildings. Each holds either three bunk beds for six people or four single beds, and every room has a basin and toilet. Everyone showers and soaks in the public bath on the ground floor.
The building is set up for gear. NEKOMA says there is a drying room, and Hoshino adds a tune-up room for gear care, a coin laundry and free lockers. A 24-hour self-service shop covers breakfast and late-night beer, and a lounge on the top floor gives the group somewhere to spread out.
The South Area lifts are about 15 minutes away on foot or 3 by car, and at the end of the day a lift and a dedicated run bring you back to the door. Dinner means a walk to the South Area base, where the Bandai Shokudo canteen turns into BeerHouse Matatabi from 16:00 this season.
