Hoshino Resorts runs this 149-room hotel at the foot of what used to be Alts Bandai and is now the South Area of NEKOMA Mountain. NEKOMA's accommodation page calls it ski-in, ski-out and offers a stay of up to 22 hours, checking in at 16:00 and out at 14:00, so the last morning is a full one on the hill. The same page mentions free first rides and a wax bar for guests.
The rooms run from 52-square-metre maisonettes to two Aizu Modern suites of 104 square metres with their own sake cellar. The onsen comes off Mt. Bandai into baths styled on Aizu lacquerware, and there is an indoor pool for the children. Jalan lists a drying room at extra cost.
Evenings lean on Aizu culture, and the bar pours local sake chosen by a certified sake sommelier. At 21:00 staff lead a dance round a red-cow tower to the folk song Aizu Bandaisan. Between 11 January and 28 February the dance runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays only.
