ANA InterContinental Appi Kogen Resort
¥41,000 a night
This is the smaller of APPI's IHG hotels, with 38 rooms that all face the slopes, and seven of its eleven room types have a hinoki-wood bath by the window. Staff meet you at the door, and the stay includes a welcome drink, afternoon tea, an early-evening apéritif hour and breakfast. In winter the resort sells it as ski-in, ski-out, so you clip in at the hotel and ride onto the runs. Restaurant Shiratsuyu cooks Japanese and French courses from Tohoku produce and Sanriku seafood, and Bar MOCCO takes over after dinner.
Rates climb hard through the season. On Rakuten Travel the 30-day Advance Saver with breakfast starts at ¥41,000 a person for two sharing from December 2026 to March 2027.
