Adults are junior-high age and up; children from 4 pay ¥3,000 a day on weekdays in the regular period. Time tickets of 10 and 20 hours cost ¥13,500 and ¥25,500. Showing a Komaruyama ticket at Ryuoo's ticket office gets a ¥3,000 day ticket, and Ryuoo belongs to the NAGANO 7 Powder Dream Pass.

- Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo to Nagano, then the Nagano Electric Railway to Yudanaka; Ryuoo's bus links Yudanaka Station with the ropeway base in about 25 minutes when it runs.
Ryuoo publishes the Yudanaka shuttle for the green season; check its winter timetable before you rely on it.
The nearest station is Yudanaka, 25 minutes from the first lift. Nagano Electric Railway; minutes are the shuttle bus time.
Ryuoo climbs from the Yomase valley near the Yudanaka and Shibu onsen villages to a top of 1,930 m, with more than 1,000 m of vertical. Its ropeway carries 166 people a car to the 1,770 m top station, and on the right morning the sea of cloud lies below you there.
The summit area is high and inland, so the snow stays dry, and its runs average a gentle pitch that newer riders can handle. Kiotoshi Bowl is the resort's signature ungroomed run, and helmets are compulsory on it. Tree areas sit beside it and around the summit.
The main slopes at the base are flat and wide with two terrain parks. Night riding runs most evenings from late December to late March, and a day ticket costs ¥6,000 on weekdays.

- Wear a helmet if you plan to ride Kiotoshi Bowl; Ryuoo will not let you in without one.
