The school registers guests at the Hikage gondola, and Canyons handles the English-language bookings and the backcountry side. Adults join groups from age 15 and kids from 7. Children of 4 to 6 get a ski-only infant group with lunch on the full day. Private lessons are priced per instructor for up to six people, so a family shares one ¥34,000 two-hour slot.
From 15 January to 15 March the school's guides take private groups into Nozawa's backcountry. The head guides hold New Zealand and Japanese ski-guide tickets and Canadian avalanche qualifications. A seven-hour day costs ¥120,000 for four and includes the beacon pack, and the lift ticket comes on top.
