Tabataya

Tabataya opened in 1905, and three generations of women run it now. Rice from the owner's own fields goes on the table with vegetables from the okami's family farm. They make their own miso and pickles too.
The kitchen can prepare halal meals on request, and some rooms take dogs. Myoko Tourism lists a sauna and a station pick-up.
Myoko Tourism's English listing puts Myoko Suginohara a minute's walk away and the Suginosawa onsen centre at five minutes, which matters in a village where the bath and the lifts are the whole evening.
