Uozu's city rental scheme lends bikes from the tourist office at Uozu Station and the seaside market Umi-no-Eki Shinkiro, and e-assist bikes also from Kintaro Onsen. Prices rose on 1 April 2026, and an e-bike now costs ¥3,000 for up to eight hours. Cross bikes and e-assist bikes cost ¥800 for the day, and you can keep a bike for up to seven days.
Rentals run from 9:00, and the last bike goes out at 15:00. The e-bike carries enough battery for more than 100 km, by the operator's figure, and only the station where you rented can swap it. The scheme publishes a 6.2 km bay course and a 15.9 km course through the rice fields from Uozu.
