Evergreen calls itself Hakuba's first English-language ski school, and the office sits on Happo-one a short walk from the Kokusai chairlift. Every instructor holds at least a Level 1 ticket from a body such as CSIA or BASI, and you can filter by language or certification when you book. Children aged 3 to 6 go into Yeti Club. Older kids up to 14 join Hakuba Heroes.
Private prices are per group, so a family of three pays the same ¥79,000 for a full day as a single skier. The 80-minute Jump Start at 8:30 costs ¥22,500. From 1 March a five-hour Spring Special drops to ¥59,000 for up to five people.
Worth knowing
- The early slots fill first in the New Year weeks, so book the 8:30 Jump Start or First Tracks as soon as your dates are fixed.
