Date rule: Held each October since 2023.
The Mynavi Tour de Kyushu has run every October since 2023 as an international stage race through Kyushu's cities and countryside. For 2026 the organisers renamed it Ganbaro Kumamoto, a message of support for the people rebuilding after the July earthquake.
The 2026 race opened with a criterium in Sasebo on 9 October. The Saga–Fukuoka stage on the 10th ran 152 km from Hado Misaki along the Genkai Sea and the Itoshima coast to a finish on Meiji-dori at Tenjin Bridge. The Oita–Kumamoto stage on the 11th crossed Minamioguni, Ubuyama and Aso to finish at the Minamiaso village office, and Nichinan in Miyazaki hosted the last day on the 12th.
On the Aso stage the course closed to all traffic between 8:00 and 14:00, and from 10:30 to 13:15 inside Aso City. Check the organisers' traffic pages before you ride or drive near the course on race days.
Worth knowing
- The finish on Meiji-dori in central Fukuoka is the easiest stage to watch without a car.
