The Tour de Kumano is a four-day professional stage race through the World Heritage country of the Kumano Kodo, rated 2.2 on the UCI Asia Tour since 2008. The 2026 race was the 26th, run from 7 to 10 May after a 30 km UCI criterium at Wakayama Castle on 6 May with 16 teams.
The stages loop round Inami and along the Kozagawa river, then a mountain stage climbs at Kumano in Mie before the finale on the Taiji peninsula. For spectators the circuits are the easier choice, since the race passes many times. The nearest station to the Kumano course is JR Kumanoshi.
