Sukeza suits anyone who wants gohei mochi grilled to order with Hida's egoma sauce. The trade-off is the drive, since the shop sits in Kiyomi outside central Takayama.

Sukeza makes only gohei mochi. It prepares them each morning and grills them to order with a sauce made from egoma, which is the perilla seed Hida grows. In spring 2024 it moved to the Wood Forum Hida car park in Kiyomi.
